Back when I first started doing massage, after having finished school, I had performed the operations as been taught, trying to get better and better and trying to remember the details, all steps and all the things you had taught me.
The first massage was very sensitive because of my insecurity, it is sometimes ineffective. I remember that I was almost afraid to do evil, to push too hard, then some customers told me "look that you can push even more," I started to put a little 'more power.
When I felt safe on the technique, I started listening and what they perceived as my hands as I was taught: "follow what your hands want to do, trust them, listen to your body what it wants."
I'd play, I did not feel anything, then I tried to keep listening, trying to trust my hands that most of the techniques he had learned by heart by now.
I have often wondered if I was scope to do massages, though perhaps not have been better for me to do another job, even though people told me that I had massaged were better, they were calmer, sleeping better, that short were a little 'more happy and had golden hands, because of these reasons, I have continued in spite of my head I was thinking that maybe I had yet to do.
Over time and after so many massages I began to realize that I could feel where the person had no need, in some parts of the body I pause a few seconds and in other parts I would never take your hands off. I felt that something was happening in those places, it seemed "magical", when I saw those points, my hands seemed to know exactly what to do and sank her fingers through the muscle, skin, bones with an ease that left me surprised, but it most beautiful was how I felt, my body, my belly is, in fact I was happy when this happened.
When finished, the person told me that at that point he felt a great comfort.
So I figured I could talk to the body, through my hands and I was massaging the body, was speaking to me, showed me what he needed.
I often close my eyes and let go of my hands, listens to everything I hear and feel, be guided by these feelings.
